Hello All, Newish to the forum so apologies if doing anything wrong. I have an Aqualisa electric shower, I've had it for 7-8 years now and it started not to work properly. Please see video of issue: Issue: When you press the on button it works / lights up for a split second and the water cuts in and out for a split second. If you leave it for awhile (seems random time wise) it returns back to normal function. It has done this the last two mornings. If anyone can shed any light on what to look for to try diagnose the issue it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Looks like the microswithch behind the on/ off button may not be latching. If you press the button ,and keep it pressed in ,does the shower then run continuously?
No, if you press and hold it still does the same thing, it just seems to come back in its own when it feels like it, I've tried all types of presses and it can make still show the same fault , then randomly press it and bam it's back to normal for many presses?
Yeahh I hear you. It probably will get changed but for now if I was a simple fix I would get that done and then prep to replace it in the coming months.
So not to be that person that does not return, it turned out to be my front cover plate. On the Aqualisa Quartz 9.5 the on off button is run from a mother board which appears to have burnt out. A new front cover from trading depot for £79.00 solved the problem
