    The MCBs are almost certainly rated at 6KA which is 6000 amps, as a unit backed up by the DNO fuse it will disconnect up to 16kA, but the consumer unit won’t any use afterwards.

    I would assume the PSC is more like 1.6kA, but it looks like there’s an additional digit on the scribbled note on the back board.

    To be honest I would be more concerned about the piece of plywood used as a consumer unit back board than what is written on it ;)

    I think you have missed the point? 1398.7 amp at 230 = 0.164 Ω and 0.17 Ω = 1352 amps so they seem to match each other.

    Would you not just record the reading on your test meter?

    This discussion has well and truly lost the plot, no doubt the guy does a good job overall.
