Electro Brass Flush Hinges with Finials 60mm

Check that either the screws are sat perfectly in the hinge countersinks or that they are the correct size. I quiet often have a similar problem and have now started using piano hinge screws which sit slightly down in the hinge countersink.

i fit a lot of these usualy with a surface mounted door[bigger than the opening]
the way i fit them is hinge length in from both edges sit the hinge firmly against the door[knuckle points forward]
secure with 2 =4 by half inch screws
this keeps the hinges fully in line [the most likely cause of your problem]
i then secure the hinge to carcase with only one screw in both hinges
try for movement and position
you can adjust by moving the hinge and using the second hole removing the other screw before you tighten[unless its less than a couple of mm movement]repacking the hole with a matchstick or wood to fill the hole

the knuckles must be fully in line otherwuse the doors will spring open
use my method above and this wont happen

try loosening each screw a quarter turn and see what happens
i have several other ideas but will wait for your reply

big all

I never use screws included in hardware always poor quality and fit.Often get roundhead screws supplied with countersunk fittigs.?

My Winzer Wurth rep gave me a free box of piano hinge screws because he new that would sort the problem. Another way is to slightly bevel the edge of the door frame to give some clearance.
