Exterior PVC door canopy painting

I’m looking to paint our door canopy white. When we got the survey completed it was stated as PVC and timber. However I want to be sure to get the right paint and prepare the surface correctly.

Can anyone provide some insight please?

Zinsser All-Coat or Bedec Multi Surface Paint are a decent option.

Don’t require a separate primer, just a case of giving the surface a clean and a light key for adhesion.

Thank you! Solvent based or water based?

Bedec MSP highly recommended for uPVC - as mentioned above

Several posts on the forum regarding painting composite doors / uPVC windows using the Bedec MSP with excellent results (myself included, front door) and yes, it’s water based

Look it up, range of colours and finishes available, call Bedec up and ask for a free paint sample and they will post out a sample for you :)

Zinsser All Coat is great for painting over upvc. It is self priming self undercoating requires 2 coats and has a satin sheen finish which is comparable to a upvc sheen level.
