    hello
this is my first post and I hope this group can help.

I am looking to buy a ladder for external use on my 2 floor house. But I am not sure of the length that I need
as this is my first house and my first ladder.

The options are 5m, 6m and 7m. can anyone shed light on this? thanks

    Hi CM,

Always buy the longest set as the ladders will last and your next home might be taller. If not fully extended in use the ladder overlap makes then firmer and less likely to flex.

There are two qualities of ladder the professional and the domestic. The domestic type are naturally cheaper and are intended for occasional use. Think through how much use you will give them. The professional steps are wider and more robust which adds to comfort in use.

I bought a set from 'ladders on line' or something like that, do a search they are in Gwent. The price was the cheapest I could find and they were delivered next day, saved humping them back from B&Q!!

    Hope this helps,

    DWD
