Last year we had our boiler moved to a new position under the stairs. Since it has a thermal store and fires up at various times of the day it's getting pretty warm in there now the summers here.

Any probs with installing a 4" fan to pull the heat out? Stepping on the toes of any regs? And its oil if that makes any difference.

    Cheers in advance.

    Hi,
What boiler do you have? Should be ok if it's room sealed

Just check the boiler manufacturers instructions for clearances from extractor to flue should be in the region of 300mm
