Extractor Fan Lightbulb Change

Hi guys,

this may sound really thick but the lightbulb to my extractor fan in the kitchen has gone and I’m trying to replace it but I can’t figure out how to get access to it. Does anyone know how to remove the glass without damaging it?

I’ve tried to budge it, push the clips in, get something under the clips and pull the glass but I’m worried about breaking it. Thoughts?

What does the instruction manual tell you?If you have lost it, put the make and model into a search engine and you will be able to locate one.

So looking at the manual it advises to push the buttons up to take the panel off which I’ve done but it doesn’t advise on how to remove the glass panel. Could it be a case of unscrewing it dyou think?

Usually the bulbs are just literally sitting there inside the fan case and easily accesible to change
Does the glass panel not remain in place and simply working inside the fan case, you reach in and simply remove bulb/s - likely to be SES cap, and just located in front of the two charcoal filters

The glass probably is removable but only required for a deep clean or to replace glass if damaged. For a bulb change - not sure that the glass needs to be removed ?

Get your phone inside the fan case and take some pictures of bulb location for some further clarity
