We have 2 houses on same lot, the first house has 3 showers and I have 1 shower in my house. All the showers have same problem, the water is extremely hot and it takes about 7 to 10 min to get semi cold water to come out and even then the water is still warm. I thought the shower valves needed replacing but 4 shower valves going bad at the same time ? The other house is having the same problem with the kitchen sink being to hot to even use but my kitchen faucet works fine. I replaced my bath faucets , 3 of them , about 5 months ago and they worked great but now the hot water barely comes out but the cold side works perfect. We use well water that gets filtered and treated. We have great water pressure , except for my bath faucets , inside and outside of both houses.
Any thoughts would be very helpful. Thank You.

What type of shower? Electric or thermostatic from a combi, or DHW cylinder?

Air lock on cold or incorrectly fitted thermostatic mixing value elsewhere (e.g. on cylinder outlet) perhaps.

Your use of the words "lot" and "faucets" makes me think you might be in USA .. if so you are welcome here but bear in mind that this is a UK based forum, and advice is likely to be from UK folk and may not be pertinent to your situation!

    Welcome and good luck!

Is it pumped hot water, and maybe lower pressure cold? an imbalance in the mixing between pressures- maybe some pressure relief needed somewhere?
