Hi all, replacing my 5ft hit and miss fence, there is a 30cm max(grounds not level along length either) difference in height higher at my side, while most of this is just build up over the years I have come across the remains of what appears to be some attempt at a retaining wall, its hardcore with what once was red bricks vertically on 5cm deep concrete footing, most of it is now in bits has had bits of slabs put in to replace as well as wood. I was going to put in a row of concrete blocks after digging back, but that would mean posts would be in the block footing trench any ideas how to approach that, is it best to do posts first then simply put block down afterwards since its more decorative than structual once dug back. Thx, g
