    Hello

We have a garage attached to the house that has been partly converted to a Utility room, the remaining is partitioned off for storage thus can no longer house a car. We are wishing to place a door between the now utility room and kitchen, does it thus still fall under building reg to have a fire door?

    Cheers in advance

If it's still a garage or the building spans more than (I think) 18 meters or so then yes. Check the planning portal site. It's more related to having an expectation of the storage of flammable things like petrol etc.
