Fireplace Install.

Hi,

I'm in the prcess of changing my old gas fireplace for a new micro marble electric suite type and would like a bit info of installing it if possible.

It will sit against a flat wall as there's no chimney breast and the fire just slides into it when constructed.

The main things I want to try and find out is how to fix it to the wall therefore what type of adhesive should I use?

Should the hearth sit on a mixed cement based mixture or just use some sort of mastic type, ie pink grip, unibond etc?

Anyone else fitted one of these?

Any advice on this and any other tips on fitting would be appreciated.
