Hi, I am in the process of fitting engineered wood in my bedroom, on the existing floor boards. I have fitted the underlay and I am 90% complete, however, the when connecting the last two lengths there appears to be a significant gap(big enough to fit my fingers underneath it) between the underlay and the where the two boards are going to connect.

I have contemplated sliding more underlay under the floorboards to reduce the gap, but I wanted to see what the experts recommend.

    Thanks in advance,
    Bob
