Hi, I am moving into a new house and I have a plan to move the kitchen from the small room it's in, into a larger extension room. The room will need all the plumbing pipework putting in - this is probably a silly question, but do I get a plumber or a builder to do this job? Thanks for your help.
I would expect the waste pipework that is near or below ground level to be a builder, above ground would be a plumber.
@RamboJohn82 do you have a drain that is easily accessible from the extension? So where the sink will be located? If you do then you may only need a plumber. Either way a plumber is best person to advise IMO.
Certainly if you have an external drain that is easily accessible then a plumber may be able to do the whole job. As above, best to engage with a plumber (or 3), they can then tell you if you also need to engage a builder to do the heavy groundwork or not.
