    hi all

im fitting some louvre vents to my shed and I just wondered the upper ones on the top of the shed, should the blades of the vent be facing up ? or down? I assumed up as then the warm air can pass easier rain isnt an issue as it will be under the overhang of the roof.... but peoples view on what is best seems to be conflicted at best.. any advice would be great

    thanks

Down so water and debris don't fall in.

thanks for reply, will the blades being down not restrict the air flow?

yes exactly that.. i had planned putting 2 up high and 2 small ones down below .. its a big shed 13x13 ft

Probably one each high/low would suffice on one wall, if you want to add more ventilation then you could put a high & low one at each end but I doubt it would need it.
