Can anyone explain to an amateur what the following means please:

    Studs M8 x 110mm Drill Size 10 Max Fixture 75 Pack of 5

What are M sizes? Is is the diameter in mm of the stud?
    What is Max Fixture 75?

Last question - I hope to fix a 1m post to my house wall so my gate closes against it. The wall is blockwork and I've been told to use resin to fix studs. Would 3 be OK and how deep does the stud need to be buried in the wall ?

    Thanks very much.

M8 means the dia is 8mm
    Drill size 10 = use 10mm drill
Max fixture 75 = maximum thickness of fixture 75mm
I'd use all 5 and get them as deep in the wall as you can.
