I am trying to fix met posts to concrete coping stones. What would be the best (reasonably priced fixing) for the job? The posts will only be 2ft tall so the fixings don’t need to support huge amounts of weight.
Met posts do seem to deteriorate fairly quickly as the paint flakes off as they rust so I would make sure they are well painted or in time you will have rust stains running down your stonework. That aside I would go for 6 x 50mm stainless coach screws , with brown plugs or some stainless dome head screws same gauge and include small stainless penny washers .

Thanks, I tried using Timco concrete screws but they drilled the concrete rather than screwed into the concrete, turning my 6mm pilot holes into 7.5mm holes. Maybe I was using them incorrectly.
As above. Using "expanding" fixings or concrete screws mirrors a good way to split rock (or concrete) Using resin means that you're really just filling a hole and leaving a bit of metal in it, no stress.
