I’ve got an IKEA GODMORGON / ODENSVIK wall hung vanity unit with 2 drawers, approx 41kg in weight unloaded.
I need to fix it to a wall consisting of 8mm tile - 12mm plasterboard - 34mm batten to a breeze block exterior wall.
There are 4 single screw brackets to use.
Obviously I want it secure and don’t want it coming off the wall.
With the 34mm void created by the batten (which isn’t in the right place to fix to) what would be the best fixings to use.
I’m thinking 8mm x 100mm coach bolts into Fisher UX wall plugs or the Corefix system (which gets mixed reviews) and my void may be too much for the metal sleeve.
Any advice and recommendations are appreciated. Thanks
