Hi all, I have a 100 year terrace house where the inside kitchen wall has flaking paint, the other side of this wall is rendered. My question is how can i coat the wall and with what to stop the paint flaking ? thanks for your time.

It might be the wrong paint used & moistures got behind it for the kitchen you can try some dulux mid sheen eggshell paint & make walls good before applying. If it’s penetrating you will need to fix the problem only you know if the walls are damp to the touch you can buy sealers for penetrating damp. Make good the walls & if it’s dry I would paint & see how it goes.
