And the concept of Saudi citizens being models of good behaviour doesn't ring true. I think 19/20 hijackers in 9/11 were Saudi.

You cite the heinous beating to death of that poor old guy, which was indeed a genuinely redundant act. But, why is it sooo in the news? Precisely because it's so uncommon. So unusual. So rare.
