Got 3 bathrooms to tile would you tile the floors or walls first, my thinking is the floors likely to get damaged if they are done first ( dropping a wall tile ) ?

I'd definitely do the floors last, too much risk of dropping things.

Walls first , leaving the bottom line of tiles (where they meet the floor) until after you've done the floor tiles , then you can cut them in to the floor tiles ;)

Yep, good sound advice - Cheers!!!

  5. as GKU says, batten the wall at the bottom of the second course and go from there, then the floor, then the infill of wall tiles or floor tiles for the skirting effect.

It depends on the job, for example if you are lining up grout joints for wall and floor then I would tile the floor first everytime. Usually it's the walls first though.

Or.... you could do as everyone says and get a rotary laser in for your setting out. No problems then!
