Forum bickering

Do you think there is too much forum bickering

Is it true that the amount of time you spend on this forum is inversely proportional to the amount of 'life' you otherwise have? :(

It is also true a handful of us spend a Friday evening together. On a forum. About trade and DIY. What 'life' are you talking about?:D:p

He knows you won't do that, it's all a game to him after all, so characters are resurrected by him too divert any likely escalation, and also to add 'back up' for his weird agenda.

Not a game, as such, Longs, as I sadly take many of the threads far too seriously. And I haven't resurrected characters to divert anything. Is that a suggestion that I'm more than one character on here? If so, I promise you I ain't.

But, "He knows you won't do that..." gave me pause. Man you can be spookily insightful at times... I had to ask myself if that were true, and I don't know - I do want it to stop.

But, yes, I hate to lose an argument, certain ones at least. So, yes, it would usually have to be on my terms...

Both Wiggy and Kools will be happy to see this. I am too. Thank you Dev.
The political discussion is good, it shows us the power of a democracy, but when it loses itself among meaningless petty insults, it is a little sad.

My beautifully crafted posts were "meaningless petty insults"?!!!!

Why, you...

(I'm ashamed...)

Oops. What have I done here...

What have you done?

Only chust started the longest and most acrimonious thread this forum has ever ever seen...

(rubs hands together...clicks fingers ready for a massif typing spree...)

What? Oh damn - I need to go shopping... :(

Good to see your return Chutney, sorry to say you just missed Dev - he's gone shopping now :D.
I wonder what he will get? Food shopping, clothes shopping or mind relaxation classes? He could do with those.:D:p

I find it strange that Dev's name changes were due to incompetance rather than insolence as I thought, frankly I'm dissappointed.

Ok, Mr Ha.

You've said your bit and I've said mine.

It's out in the open. It's all been said.

On the Brexit thread where this all started, Longs told me I just shouldn't have questioned Mr Ha or Phil or Scott's motives (regardless of what I thought of them).

On balance, he was probably right.

You just can't do it, can you?

"regardless of what I thought of them"

In other words you thought you were right to question our motives.

"On balance...probably"

Not much certainty there!

And no sincerity.

Mr. HandyAndy - Really

You clearly desire some clarification, Mr Ha.

I do not regret in any way whatsoever the content of these posts, as I believe them to be fully justified for the reasons I made clear. The only regret I may have is that I actually put them on the thread and not chust kept them in my head.

But it's pretty hard to be that considerate when others are happy to exploit...

And I mean that most sincerely.

Have you thought of changing your username to Angryandy as you aren't very handy any more? :):)
