    HI

I am looking at building a room (NOT BAR) at the end of my garden, within permitted development criteria.

not sure what way to go, with the price of wood sky rocketing over the last 12 months im leaning to a block build structure.

if i use Solid Medium Density 3.6N Concrete Block would they be suitable to hang the floor joist off or would be best to go with Solid Base?

I'm hoping for a room that is useable both winter and Summer timer frame and insulation on the inside of the blocks be suitable?

block will be fine but don't try to render aerated blocks. timber frame on the inside of the block should be fine

    Thanks Jonathan.

Will the joist hanged attach to the blocks OK?
