Hi, not sure if this is the right forum to post on. I am getting a pixelated picture on the hd channels on freesat and sometimes on the none hd. I've worked out that this is happening when it's raining so rain must be getting through the cable, (I think). Would putting tape around the connections help? Or any other advice? Thanks.

Wd-40 will remove moisture. Maybe get a signal meter for what it cost and check signal strength

Is the aerial aligned correctly?, reason I'm asking is, heavy rain could reduce the signal if its not bob on to start, my sky signal has palpitations if its snowing or raining cats n dogs.

I’ve just had some freesat channels showing no signal at all eg BBC News HD 200 and Really. Just did a retune and it’s working fine.

    Can’t explain it.

That's great, thanks for your tips, I'll have another look at it.
