Fridge issues at work

    Every now and again we have a fridge (student accommodation) that is working (you can hear it running) but will not cool...... the freezer compartment is actually warm-ish.

    Is it likely overheating that is causing this. They are poorly installed with not much ventilation.....

    More like loss of refrigerant ! As regassing is not possible, get your landlord to buy a new one. It’s part of your rental agreement

    I thought the 'Fridge issues at work' Title, would give a clue that I work there, Lol......... thanks tho :).

    Before even thinking about re-gasing, i would check the rubber door seals. A good sign they have given up the ghost is if a fridge or freezer door opens with little or no effort. A well sealed door will take a fairly good tug to get open.
