standard fridge/freezer next to standard wall mounted combi, I've been advised it is and isn't safe.

If the boiler is housed would that effect it, 18mm mfc end panel

    any advice would be appreciated

Can't imagine why it's not safe. Has anyone sugested reaeson for concern? We use to frown upon a fridge beside a boiler simply because the heat from the boiler would make fridge work harder. Modern boilers pass little heat through casing

It's info passed down the grapevine from a customer, imo more heat comes from the back of a fridge than the side of a boiler, as you say modern ones are realy good

Read the MIs regarding clearances. If there is no sign of distress it will be NCS at worst so no real drama.

Unfortunatly they don't have them, just moved in, brought their fridge with them.

Theres enough room for a 150mm gap.

Its the bloke who serviced the boiler thats scared them.

settled on boxing the boiler in 18mm mfc, fridge is 50mm away from that, got my regular plumber to check it was okay.
