   Can anybody tell me if a door from a garage to the house has to be fire check, the one that needs to be replaced isn't..

   To accord with current Building Regs, yes, it has to be fire rated, (30-minite minimum), self closing, hung on approved CE marked hinges, in a fire rated frame with intumescent strip. No question about it.
