They could, theatrically, let the fuel be 4p a gallon by charging 200 quid tax for using the petrol pumps, innit.

 

They could, torpedoically, let the vat be 100% and then give us petrol free, innit.

 

There's no such thing as a free lunch except for hauliage owners and farmers if they convince the brain dead to force government action by their protest.

They should at least cut the tax down as in relive terms they are getting lots more revinue from the increase..
