    sorry 514-03-02

So steve, you are actually in contavention of that reg as you are failing to identify each MEB conductor "throughout its length" as per the reg.
How do you propose complying fully with the reg ?

Nice consumer unit, dont listen to the bitchen.

I'd rather do industrial any day

    Like This;)

On jobs like this I would use larger trunking and cut out large, long oval slots in the sides of the panels and trunking and fit paxelin in between, with the paxelin cut slightly smaller to protect the cables, like grommit strip would. This future proofs it. The brass bushes dont look to be enough and you could leave the panel suspetable to eddie currents forming between the bushes if you used each hole for a different phase.

That sure is one of the neatest jobs I have seen!

I am a bit concerned though:
The second MCB from the left...
That looks like a 32A MCB.
Is that 2.5mm cable coming out from it because it looks a lot smaller than the 6mm in the MCB on the left?

Should be a minimum of 6mm should it not?

I should hate for your nice neat job to melt due to excessive heat ;)

Well observed Spark&Plumb but no need to worry - Spark&half did say...

'Before you pick up on the 2x 32 amp breakers they where put in until I had a delivery the next day - not connected to meter'

    Nice CU change BTW S&H!

I do tend to use paxolin as you stated but when the job was completed there was ample amounts of space left - all cables where tri-rated so they are easily installed not like swa...

I would never separate the phases into individual bushes very big NO NO..;)

Shame I didn't get any final pics for you guys to see - it became one of those rush jobs without time to **** if ya know what I mean...
