Hi all, I know it's allowed to wire in another socket from a ring main socket using a fused spur, but is it allowed and safe to also wire in a light from the same spur?

So basically, the ring main socket to the fused spur, and two twin and earth cables from the spur, one to a single socket, another to a lightswitch, and then to the light?

I've attached a diagram below, sorry its ****, hope it makes sense.

    Thanks in advance!

Yes permitted, some bulbs are limited to a 16 amp supply, but fused spur means 13 amp or less so OK.

Yeah thats fine, I would put a fused spur though to the light with a 3a or 5a fuse as a lot of lights cable will not be rated for 13A and most sockets are only rated for 10A
