    Hi,

I’m stating the process of converting my single skin attached garage to the gable end of the house. My house is a 1930s brick built with suspended timber floor

upon emptying the garage I noticed there are air bricks on the gable wall which wasn’t a problem initially as I was going to install a suspended timber floor at the same level of the house. Upon checking the roof height I’d only have a ceiling height of 2.2m therefore I’ve reverted to a step down from house and wanting to go with an floating or insulted screed floor to give a ceiling height of 2.4m but this would block the vents. Am I ok to block these or not? If not any suggestions on how to provide vent?
