back view, all slated now and partially battened ready for cembrit plank. (more vertical cross battens to come and a little xps insulation on the workshop end?
a bit of window trim still to fit, but that's just about job done. We had to wait to clad because garage door was delayed and had to get the old garage down and some drainage work On to some hard landscaping and a garden room office...
Amazing garage may I ask you the estimate cost of this type of project I regret throwing out our old roof slates when we replaced our roof they go for decent money even the second hand ones. Would have saved a lot of money on this..
The whole project doing it ourselves - wife and me - cost near enough £10K including everything (except electrics which the sparks is coming to fit soon - all on extensions at the moment)
Nice work. I wonder if it would be a good addition to the forum where there is a dedicated section where people can post pics of the various projects they've worked on. Always nice to see the finished product after advice is given
Erm, Project Photos? Anyway there's a bit of a flaw in your hypothesis, most can't be bothered to acknowledge the advice given anyway, so expecting a photographic summary is optimistcally futile
True, to be fair though I'm just more interested in seeing good work/builds from capable people, rather than seeing everything anyone on the forum's ever done.
I can show you my first ever door I hung if you'd like, it was a bit tricky but I got there in the end.
The 95 year old visually impaired customer asked for a BOGOF offer, but I was too busy with all the new work for her neighbours gained from that one, best retirement home I ever worked in!
