I have 20 spike spot lights that I want to install for garden borders. They will be fitted with GU10 led bulbs

The run of the flex will be around 50m after the connection to the armoured cable which will be around 12m.

What flexi cable should I be looking for? And do I use 1.5mm?
I presume I need 3 core because the spots are stainless steel.

The cable will be pinned to fences so no need for armoured.

I'm not sure if flexi cable is recommended outside, unless it's a short length to connect to a wall mounted security light or similar.

The pond flex linked above should be fine so long as it is not buried. It will be UV stable.

@CosD If you are planning on adding sockets or other things in the future to that SWA feed, then opt for 2.5mm².

He is talking about a 50m run from what I can see.

    Thanks again Teki
I will be running a separate 2.5mm for sockets
