    Hello,

What is the closest distance a fitted gas hob can be from a wall or an adjacent unit which is taller than that of the unit the hob is fitted to?

    regards

as everyone else says as per manufactures instructions

    from combustible materials:-

a hob in a worktop normally has 50mm on all sides rising to 760mm above the hob.

where as a free standing cooker with a grill has
    20 mm around the oven,
150 from the hotplate (top of the worktop)rising to
610 mm above the top of grill
metal edging strips should be fitted to worktop edges by hotplate
