My stoves gas hob won't stop sparking even when all the knobs are in the off position. The problem seems to be with the back right ring because if I turn that one on and light it - the sparking stops - all other rings function ok. Any ideas?

If you take the fuse out t will stop sparking.
Why did you choose a Stoves?

Has your misses spilt a pan or just gave it a good clean? give it afew days to dry out or try a hair dryer at the back of the the ignition

Ive had this problen in the past and was due to
over-tightening the clamps which hold the hob down.Hobs with the controls at the front are most most common for this.
