i use a generator for work and find that the smell from the petrol carried with it can be overpowering when its in the back of the van. Anybody come up with any simple solutions to get over this?

You could have a gas conversion done on it and it dont cost that much. If you can 'smell' the fumes than it may be worth looking at the cap seals and ensure they are in perfect condition. Before you shut down for the day switch off the petrol tap on the Jenny and let it stall naturally this will ensure all the petrol is out of the carburetor.

If all else fails, eat a lot of beans then the stench of your farts will mask the petrol fumes

.....PS If the last option is selected then ensure you have displayed large acrylic warning signs on the front, back, sides and rear of the vehicle stating clearly HIGH EXPLOSIVE - KEEP WELL CLEAR
