It would be brilliant if it were true, but do you believe anything this Gov't say?

Look, I'll be 138 in 2050, petrol will prolly be 7 quid a gallon and gayness'll prolly be rife in Brighton so who gives one.

Ridiculous. I just can't see people plugging their kettle in a socket on the beachfront. And what about those who live further inland? Has the Government really thought this through?

"I just can't see people plugging their kettle in a socket on the beachfront."

Blimey, you know all the youthunisms, iiinnit.

"And what about those who live further inland?"

It'll prolly spread inland un'all.

Chucky, have you thought of going over to chatroulette as it is full of attention seeking w^nkers so you should fit right in :)

Tidal power has a lot more going for it than wind power.

The tides never stop.

Just think of the power in the Severn Bore.

Trouble is it's not as sexy as wind power - nothing really to look at.

Maybe we now have a use for all the redundant oil rigs in the North Sea

Good thinking Ex-KF,we need all the alternative energy sources we can use,2050 is a reality for my grandchildren, i'd like a cleaner world for them.

I generate all my household electric requirement from water power. I have the water supply connected to a hydroelectric generator with the output directed into the bath. Luckily I'm not on a water meter.
