God. Lets talk

DA, if you look at history you will see that the 'Church' were behind a lot of academic achievements throughout history
Is that when they persecuted Gallileo for saying the Earth rotated around the Sun or are you a flat earth creationist?

Looks like the moderators didn't approve of 'dobbies' views on homosexuality.

At least they didn't delete the entire thread tho.
Well done, mods.

They dedicated a good amount of time and ingenuity into achieving better more effective methods of torture, you gotta give em credit for that!

Well apart from 16 years of been made to go to church and 12 years at a catholic school I know nothing.
That link says the pope is infalliable with regards to faith or morals, itis gracious enough to say he isn't infallible about everything.
You ought to start reading your own links you sanctimonious pritt.

Not sure if this has been mentioned earlier in the thread (can't be a###d to look) what if at some point in the future alien life is discovered in a far of galaxy would they have the same God as mentioned on here? Over to you Kools

What about all the gods that are followed on this earth and all the different divisions that follow each god. It's a man made power grab and prays on the delusional which is why Kools is such an advocate.

Yes, indeed - including Islam.

In our own wee country up until the turn of the 20th century-ish, the clergy were often the most educated, most wealthy (paid for by the poor parishioners) and had oodles of free time. To the credit of many of these very fortunate bar stewards, a goodly number did spend their time productively and not chust involved with their religious beliefs.

Ding D0ng Pell. What a shame there is no hell.

Kools, does this current news story give you 'pause' at all?

This repulsive old goat, with his smug, sanctimonious pseudo-pious smirk almost certainly knew about what was going on, and - equally likely - actively participated.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know he ain't been found guilty yet - but he will. Because he is.

Kools, you have spoken on this forum about the depths of despair you have felt at times and how sometimes it became almost too much to bear. By all accounts a similar level of despair was experienced by a large number of young boys, with possibly around 40 of them having subsequently found it too much to bear.

The simplest of simple questions - asked before, I know: where was your gawd?
