You are a complete and utter moron when it comes to politics, JJ. No other way to put it.

No, I don't want Corbyn any more than you - it would be a disaster for the country. But for you to trump that the EU could double our bill just shows your ignorance and utter contempt for reason.
DA, do you not think this might be what Gove was alluding to? I honestly thought he was alluding to a GE sooner than later. After all he did say it was up to the voters to change Brexit. (or did you think he meant the 600 odd members of the HoP that have to vote on Brexit? )
You seriously think the EU would accept what is presently on the table if we had a GE and another bunch took control? Would they **** as like. They'd tell us it was back to the negotiating table quicker than the fastest thing on the planet.

Supporting JRM doesnt surprise me.

So, why not Gove, if you want Mogg ?

Gove a typical, um, ah, well, type of politician when it comes to answering awkward questions.

Mogg just tells it as it is, in a very informed way, often running rings around those trying to catch him out.

And so it shouldn't. What a splendidly adept gentleman he is.

Why, may I enquire, do you show such hostility towards him?

Because he's not a Remoaner.

Oh how they wish they had somebody like him on their side.

Why bring personal traits into it, that is totally irrelevant. I have nothing againt his manners, style or gentelemanly style.

Purely his politics and establishment leanings. The very thing you apparantly didnt want.

His reasononings are very grounded in wealth for the wealthy and his business interests, not that of those he says he wants to protect.

I dont want to go back to the days of doffing my cap to the landed gentry as they pass me. I prefer to see more people doing better, not making a big divide even worse.

The only Tory I would like to see leading the party AND the country is Clarke. A proper gentleman and politician generally. Mogg will lead the party, but divide the country even more.

Especially once they get to know him more.

I mean, what sort of dad would burden his child with the name Sixtus? Oh the humiliation in the school playground! The poor git.

Ah, sorry, wait... Little Sixtus' life will never suffer a cruel taunt because he won't ever have to mix with normal kids.

His future - in or out of the EU - will be gold-plated and assured. The very best of everything will land in his lap. As the British economy stumbles and worse, he will ride high. I wonder what career his dad has in mind for him?

His dad is clearly the ideal sort of guy to run this country for us.

As I expected, you don't like him because he's rich, and you're not.

It's not fair.

What?

How misguided again.

Why not read what was put, not what you want to think I said?

Isn't Clarke rich.

What about the Establishment you argued against, but openly support and want?

Lurching, or swerving ?

Okay, it's a bit of both then. He's rich, and wants out of the, EU.
You place the majority of your biased view on the latter. That's fine, JoT, it's hardly a revelation.

As much as it pains me to watch the UK descend metaphorically, financially, standards and everything else, I actually cant wait until brexit has happened and the situation dawns on those who end up with something totally different to what they wanted, and were promised.

And I fully accept you will be happy (at least as far as discussions on here go) with any brexit result, as long as we are out of the establishment (sic).

My only saving thought. I didnt vote for it, and I will be part of the same sorry mess as most others ( a few will undoubtedly gain from it because of their current interests).

But I wont have to explain why we will be in such a mess to the youngsters who will have to deal with it and suffer accordingly

No surprise, but you neatly missed the point.

As I have said before, you are a pernicious slimeball.

Didn't I say that before? How remiss of me.

Mogg? Very intelligent, but not streetwise at all.

You might expect that he would think a 'skateboard' to be a group of men discussing fishing rights.

Notice also the emphasis!

Mr. HandyAndy - Really

As always, the people who put themselves forward - like Mogg, Farage, Hitler, Trump - aren't the problem. In a rational world these folk should be laughed out on to the streets where they belong.

But, alas, there are enough uncritical morons to soak it all up.

It's also why there are religious cults, regardless of how patently phony they appears to others.

As long as there enough people who want to believe - who will hear selectively, who will refuse to use any critical faculties they may possess, we will have these undeserved individuals in power.

It is astonishing.
