Grand national

Doesn't "maximus" mean "grate"?

Not in this case, He is referring to maximus moneybagus, a legendary Roman banker that was lucky at gambling, what it means is Ind spark will celebrate his good fortune by dressing up in half a bedsheet, throw on a leather skirt, put a garland on his head and go into his attic and count his winnings, he asked from them in 50p pieces so they look more, there maybe a goblet of wine or two as well :D
