Hi, puppy has chewed corner of end panel on hacker island unit, classic handleless style. Can anyone tell me how to remove and replace old one? Are there screws hidden behind panel somewhere? Thanks

    Pics please if possible.

But try taking hinge mounting plates off, good fitters put them under them.

Or if drawer unit. Take a drawer out and see if one of the screws in the runner doesnt match the others. Sure sign its been swapped out for a 30mm screw to secure the panel.

If fitted correctly Hacker end panels are fixed by plastic tapered interlocking blocks, the two part blocks have one half fitted to the cabinet the other to the end panel.
The panel is fitted by lowering into position and the blocks lock together.
To remove lift the end panel it may need some force as the tapered blocks have serrated faces.
The only snag may be is that the panel will be prevented from fully disengaging from the blocks by the worktop, the panels are usually fitted before the worktop is fitted.

Thanks, sounds very "Hacker"! I think we will probably get the original fitters to change the panel, when the pup has finished teething! Thanks for the help.
