we did our votes last week, postal from a (nice) but very foreign country.

Still on the fence about voting. have voted in everything I can since turning 18 but I just see this as pointless but on the other hand there still is a chance we could stay which then make these votes important.

Can I ask what made you want to vote in this one given the current situation where we are meant to be leaving in is it June of July?

Nope. Can't be bothered. Don't matter as we are coming out so can't see the point in voting other than to line the pockets of those that will get the job of doing nothing for a few months, but I guess they will be clearing out the desks and hiding fish under the carpets :)

A low turnout benefits the leavers.

    Surely thats not right.

Since more people voted to leave the EU wouldn't low turnout favour remain, or are you saying only leaver can be bothered to vote.

    I voted this morning.
Pleasantly surprised by a couple of people I know who told me their voting choice.
    Both for Brexit.

Well I won't obviously but good on you for doing some research rather than blindly listening to Farage.

Im not so sure they will do anything directly, but if the result is a large lean towards Farage it should make parliament think more about the people of this country as opposed to themselves.

You think Farage cares about this country?

I haven't. I'm away from home unexpectedly but I probably wouldn't anyway. Westminster politicians have failed the populous. This a vote that shouldn't be happening and is a tragic waste of taxpayer funds.

The real crunch will come when we have to vote in a proper election.
