Have a system where the cold feed from the main enters the bathroom. All the cold taps feed directly from this. The combi is at the end of the run. When in operation as soon as a cold tap or toilet is used the combi hot drops out. Thinking of a pump or maybe putting back a header tank... Advice please..

Sounds like ur water pressure/ flow rate is enough for your combi. Existing or newly installed?

Have a couple of heating engineers come in and survey for an accumulator or boost pump youll get all the advice you need from someone who has seen the site and has a full understanding of your needs, plus you have an idea of costs.

Getting arms length information is always a good idea,So many plumbers nowdays offer a chargeable quote service at your cost that can be recovered if you accept their quote.

they can do some flow tests and make an offer for improved water performance but they may not tell you infinite how they will go about doing the improvement.

    the improvements could be basic.

maybe its a basic installation or an installation badly altered, hey its easy to work on an onsite visit but you know the boiler may have a facility to be more acceptable to pis-poor plumbing.

Who knows but its easily sorted but chargeable .

Had replaced about two years ago. This problem though had been on going since the Worcester was fitted 15 years ago. I think it's because the combi is right on the end of the line and works fine as long as no other tap is open. The glow goes out the tap and the boiler flow drops from the hot taps

Have contacted the plumber who fitted the new boiler... He said he would research the problem and solutions.
