    Hi,
I've been searching the plumbing section for some sort of heat sheilding but can't find anything. Can anyone direct me to it please?

What I'm after is one of those heat resistant pads (used to be made from asbestos, probably not these days for H&S reasons) that you put behind the pipe work that your soldering to deflect the heat.

    Regards, Simon.
