heaters

    Wiring 2 2kw convectors on a circuit, do you think i would get away with a 16a breaker or should i go for a 20 to be on safe side.

    Use a 20A MCB, the current for two 2kw heaters is just over 16A.

    ok i will stop being tight, and get a 20a, although looking at the time curves the minimum current to trip a 16a breaker is 25a.

    might run a bit hot though, don't know if they like that

    how do you figure that?

    I meant the 16A, they're thermal devices. seem to remember something about not putting fully loaded breakers next to each other because heat build up might cause them to trip below rating
