    Hi im new to this site, after some help bough a house/victorian that was built in the 1900s and need info would it have asbestos in it the main concern is the cellings as it has old mesh with old bond/ browning then umder that is this old looking plaster could you spare two seconds and look at the pictures please

    I suspect the only way you will find out is by getting a sample analysed. I have heard that it has been used in plaster at times but also think horse hair has as well.

    Our house was build in 1911 and uses lathe and plaster and no sign of any fibres. Yours is clearly different.
