Help wiring thermostat

    First of all, will it work with 2 wire and secondly what goes where, attached above are images of the old and new diagram and also an image of how the old stat was wired.

    Screwfix shows the 7593G as a 3 wire installation

    Not properly,similar heat reaction/fluctuation time as the existing honeywell or even maybe worse :(
    Terminal 1 is the same on both thermostats.

    Is there a spare conductor in the existing cable serving the honeywell room thermostat ?

    No it will not work, I have only seen one wireless thermostat that works with 2 wires, Nest e is the only one I know of where the receiver is battery powered, and the thermostat is either USB or use a battery base.

    May be there are others, but I have not seen them.

    I have an old Honeywell digital wireless thermostat, runs off a AA battery and needs only 2 wires & has 6 programmable timeslots. Its redundant now as am moving to Drayton Wiser.
