Help With Flooring

    Floating chipboard floor? Insulation under chipboard? Ground floor... think I'd be expecting solid concrete or block and beam..not joists

    Not sure it matters in this case, as long as you take the dip out, don’t look at the bubble on your level you’re after flat not level ;) Starting at you internal door may be an idea you don’t want to end up with too noticeable lip there ;)

    Am actually running it through the internal door and into the hall as the existing flooring does the same.

    Just wanted to say a massage thank you to all those who gave expert advice on my flooring. As you can see it is now finished.

    Yeah I’m happy with it more importantly so is the wife!
    6 mm ply, wooden fibre underlay and 10 mm laminate. Like you say it’s not level but it’s flat!!
    Yeah the mat was a pain in the backside to do but glad I did it.
