Help with paint crazing

    I see...

    I used Zinsser as it seemed to be what everyone suggested when I went through 1000 similar threads to this. To be honest when it's just the Zinsser on the caulk it doesn't tear in any way - I'm actually at a loss to why when I put the top matt on it continues to craze despite the underneath layer being smooth...o_O

    An adhesion problem between the shellac based BIN and the emulsion is the problem.

    So do you think it's possible to fix by painting a layer of soft sheen followed by matt as it stands now as it has a zinsser layer on there already?

    No, I'm talking over the caulk not the BIN. You may get away with re caulking over the BIN and then use soft sheen,
