    hi all

Bought some Paint Panther to strip the paint from an old oak beam. The top couple of layers came off great but there’s a white layer just above the bare wood that doesn’t react to paint stripper and I’m worried about sanding it off in case it’s lead paint. Any ideas?

Got any more beams, timber need stripping, if so look at Soda Blasting will strip off paint & grime without damaging timber.

Quite a few firms around the UK who offer a mobile service.

To me it looks good like that

But as previously mentioned it is probably a lime based paint which should scrub off. The only concern is to avoid any lime products going into your eyes because it will burn quite severely
