I'm building a long storage box that will double up as a bed for my camervan. The lid will be made of half inch plywood. Which hinges would be the best to screw into the edges of the plywood.
    Thanks in advance .

If you have to screw into the edges I would look at using some piano hinges. Preferable would be some overlay kitchen cabinet hinges which allow you to secure them into the faces of both the door and the side of the box. You can fit several if required.

Edit: Just spotted the 1/2" bit - you'll need to fit surface mount and possibly even bolt them through.
